FYP. Seriously, that takes a pretty sick narrow range to have any profit potential at all.

That's a good point...If you know opponent's range is exactly 96, opponent still wins 36% which isn't huge but I imagine it gets worse quickly when you add other hands to the range.

the only thing i'll say in sincerity to this match is this:

I def. thought I had an edge before the start of this match. Upon playing, and playing poorly, and then running poorly in big pots, or crucial spots, I think it's obvious this is not the best spot for me. I'm not sure how the rest of the match would have gone. I may have won some back, to lesson the loss, but I decided that that is stupid, and I should just quit, lick my wounds, and if I wanna, play weaker players and make the money back that way.

I did play 50/100 last night, but that didn't have anything to do with this thread, nor match, so I won't go on in that regard. Was a dumb decision, but whatever.

I lost ~10k, he won near 9k or something. Add 5k to that for final tally.

we started playing before the match. I offered to do 30k hands cause I thought it be fun, and that I had an edge. Quickly realized it wasn't that fun, and then I started to lose (I was up on him ~2.6k before this all started) and that made it less fun.

We weren't going to do this, but then we played another sesh and he beat me for 100$ and it was on.
