Interesting to note that Memphis outgained Ole Miss 479-270. Eerily reminscent of last year's 17-10 Ole Miss win over Vandy in a game Vandy dominated.

eerily reminescent of Memphis last year where they found ways to lose games despite having pretty good box scores....I know because, along with Illinois, they were predicted by Phil Steele to have a huge tournaround season

Wow that goalline play for Cal really sucked bigtime. No idea why they are hurrying up in the first place when they should be draining the clock at that point. Will update final totals on day and week in minute.

Okay, with that many yds and a close-call loss I'm likely to jump on the MEM bandwagon for the future.

Part of how they lost though was getting it down to the 6 or something and then missing a FG.
Thinking their special-teams might not be so hot but it appears they definitely can be dangerous after getting some confidence with a strong comeback 2nd half.

BG upset win at MIN really surprised the hell out of me.
HOU kinda/sorta hung around at ORE but failed to cover the 18 point spread in the end.

Won on both CAL and the over though.

Ended up going 12-4 so far in the 1st week with USC -48 still pending and not looking very promising.
I'll definitely take it though.
