Minraising is the nuts

Alex Kravchenko bet 100,000 on the flop while Richard Harris raised it another 100,000. Kravchenko came back over the top for an additional 100,000 and Harris called. The turn was the and Kravchenko immediately bet 500,000. After going into the tank, Harris eventually let the hand go, but not before flashing A-K.

The Cost Per Round
In Dan Harrington's book "Harrington on Hold'em" he introduces readers to the concept of "M," which is just a fancy way of referring to what it costs a player in blinds and antes to play one orbit in a tournament.

[/ QUOTE ]

I never thought of the letter M as being that fancy.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah, weird wording by the reporter. Plenty of authors would have called it "The Harrington BAR (Blinds-Antes-Rounds) Count" or something retarded like that, then trademarked it.

He has horrible leaks, and his explanations were awful. He could be a very good player, but his short stack knowledge is awful.

Dude, check the action. There's absolutely no way he's folding anyone out there.

I did, there was some minraising until Gus moved all-in. Correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe Gus misread that minraising as a somewhat weak ace. I don't know what Gus knows about that particular player or what reads he had on him. But I'm pretty sure that Gus knew he was beat, otherwise he would be indeed terrible!

There's no reason for me to be bitter, his plays never effected me really.

Just for further explanation :
At a Sunday Million Final Table, Mrraiin limped UTG, and then folded to a short stacks 5 bb shove.

He made similar moves a few times, didn't he? Raised button & folded to BB shorties push IIRC?

BTW Thay3r - I saw your name in early updates of the ME... did you end up cashing?

It's terrible either way. Trying to fold out a preflop raiser who obviously had trips or a boat and had already min-4-bet the flop? C'mon now.
