I am up by one win and two strikeouts in my head-to-head fantasy league this week. My opponent has Pettitte. If he passes me because of this [censored] I will [censored] riot.

g-bebe,

I truly believe Wright will be a very very good pitcher by next year. He's definitely got the stuff, he just has to be a little more consistent. He hangs too many pitches.

[/ QUOTE ]

really? thats a guy who spent 4 years in A ball, i really doubt his future is very bright

i guess it could happen, but it really doesnt seem like he has good stuff.

One time I went to the last game tied in wins. I had one of my starters in route to the win and then the closer blew the save and got the win, my opponent had the closer, drats.

I wonder if he gets another start or is shipped back down to
double A.

[/ QUOTE ]

sending him back down would be awful imo. you need to show the kid you have confidence in him.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm not sure who's spot he was filling in the rotation, think it was CMW or maybe Moose...but given the bullpen maybe they move him there instead of shipping him down.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ah, I didn't realize he was filling a spot.

Send Pavano down instead.

There are 3 different levels of A ball, and it's not like he's old.

Last year at 23 he tore up A+ ball.

Really? He's made a few of the Sox hitters look silly. If he can eliminate some of the hangers, I see him doing just fine.

Yeah..I believe it was Andy/Moose/CMW/Pavano/Igawa..then Karstens..then DRasnell then they were like this Chase kid has been lights out in his first two starts at double A and was really good last year..lets call him up n see what happens.

So not sure if that 4 hr in a row is gonna end is major league stint this year.

also im pretty sure the Yanks have a habit of keeping their best prospects at double A then calling them up straight from there instead of moving them up to triple a

i know. still, it shouldn't take a legit prospect 6 seasons to go from rookie league to a+.

for some reason, i dont trust a 23 year old out of a ball with career 4.8 bb/9 and 6.9 k/9 numbers. sue me.
