people who play there should look at full tilt more closely before continuing to play there. support shaky/accounts get hacked...hmmmmmmm......internal fraud is always a possibility...maybe not in this case.

[/ QUOTE ]

Internal fraud is looking very suspicious in FT's case. PokerJoe9 just posted on pfives today about the resolution to his account being hacked in the last few days. They were obv unable to recover his funds cus they were lost through 'legitimate play,' however his UB and Stars accounts were never hacked at all. Seems somewhat suspicious that only his FT account could be hacked even though everyone and their mom knows he's got a healthy roll on other sites too.

I wish you the best of luck jc in getting your money back. I'm not sure if you saw the thread in the Zoo where I was scammed out of 2k but FullTilt really did a excellent job handling the case. It was quite a bit different from yours in that the scammer was a poster on this site but I hold out hope you get your money back. FullTilt took a long time to respond to me too. I see you did the same thing I did where you keep emailing them over and over...eventually they can't ignore you any longer. Good luck to you.

sorry if this is disrespectful, but I highly recommend people read that thread for its entertainment value

if the person who said "oh you can't get my my last 500 HH (or whatever # it was), i'll just go to stars," can get a response and some action, then hopefully if enough of us write good e-mails like this one, they might actually start listening.
if they lose enough players, something will get done. even if there are still plenty left, they will realize they should do something.

Full-tilt is a huge company with what we can assume is millions in cashflow daily...they have shown in the past that their main interest is not that of customer service or loyalty (outside of the FT Pros)...

Walmart doesn't really give a [censored] if one person, or a dozen customers have bad experiences, explain to me how is full-tilt any different?

From what I see, poker rooms have no real intereset in serving the interests of their cumstomers.

Their terms and conditions are sketchy and full of ambiguities and small font. Customer service is ignorant. Chas outs are slow. The only thing thats up to the mark is the deposit speed.

Isn't it a time to form a ligitimate players union or association to server issues arising from our dealings with poker rooms? When a situaition like this happens, there is always a lot of fuss around it, but it usually just stays here on the forum and the poker room usually avoids any reponsibility for poor customer support and ineffective security measures. How would you like a bank, that takes 2 days to repond to you about a credit card fraud? Or a police car arriving 12 hours after you dialed 911? IT does not happen in real life, because there are measures through various community and government organizations to counteract this sort fo activity. Online its usually one player against a billion dollar organization that could not care less.

If a legitimate union was formed and registered, with autosoursed lawyers and accountants, the poker rooms would soon acknowledge the fact they can not ignore players problems anymore or keep changing their bonus conditions at their discretion. I am also positive that the whole legislative situation with poker in US could be a lot different. And a small monthly fee to support such organization would be something that any poker player rolled higher than 1k would pay wihtout hesitation.

i keep thanking everyone for their help, but really if it wasnt for John Juanda, they would have never read my emails. he had to call them until those [censored] would even look at my email.

Not that you should have to, but did you do stuff like put "*URGENT*" in the subject of your e-mails? That usually works with Stars support.

Microsoft have a device that takes your fingerprint and stores
your password in a heavily encrypted program. Everytime you logint to your computer or login to a program that needs a pw you just use your fingerprint to retrieve it.

This way you can have different impossible to guess passwords.
