3-bet flop, too many turns kill your action/put you behind

three-bet flop.

when villain raises on the flop, he thinks your range is much wider than KK+

i guess you would have to fold to a flop push though, as i can't imagine a 4-bet much wider than sets.

if villain is 19/17, his pre-flop *calling* range is extremely narrow - what 2% of hands would you call a pre-flop raise with? TT? 99? 22?

the reason we are 3-betting is for value against the draws he can have here. 222 is the only hand that beats us (19/17 should almost never be flatcalling 99/TT preflop. If we 3-bet we have to call a shove b/c of the odds we'll be getting + the fact that we will be ahead quite often. 3-bet folding is turning KK into a pure bluff.

i responded in SSNL but ill give more detail here. On the flop you need to bet more than 1/2 pot. any made hand is going to bet closer to pot-size to protect, so you are narrowing your range a ton by betting so small. when he minraises make it $24-$32 to go, he will put money in with a wider range vs that raise than he will an overbet-shove. You are folding out some hands that probably would have shoved over your raise looking for some FE, namely AhX.

pf is fine either way if im paying attn (not on too many tables) and/or if any of the limpers suck ill complete this fairly often. Flop is fine also. Turn is a fold, they both limped pf, 3 diff small pairs now have sets, neither has an overpair, and even if UTG can have a J MP almost never does.

So I decided to screw around with NL Cash full ring. I started small since I'm clueless.

This was maybe my 5th hand so I really have no reads.

How's my line
