Is it me or is there a huge shift this year from RBs dominating to WR/QB combos dominating? Will this continue? Or will leagues shift back to normal?

In my main league, Carson, Romo, Brady, Delhommee are the top 4 scorers. Next is Steve Smith, Derek Anderson and then Chad. The first running back is Edgerring James and then Lamont. If this continues I can't see myself winning my league even with Gore and Marion Barber as my top 2 (have Maroney, T. Bell and Lynch on the bench) with Wayne (top WR), Boldin, as my top 2 WRS and McNabb being my QB (let's see how he does tonight).

I was having this exact talk twice this weekend. The stud RB is really taking a back seat, and secondaries are getting absolutely torched this year. I think there are 2 things behind this

1) People saw what Indy/NO/NE have been doing, and people like to copy

2) linebackers are just becoming such phenomenal atheletes that the running is getting tough

3) the tandem technique with 2 quality RB's is really catching on, and people are going with 50-50 or 60-40 load distribution

I know I wish I'd done Smith-CJ instead of Smith-Maroney. But what can ya do...

My Lee Evans for his Ahman Green?

pertinent information:
start QB, RB, RB, R/W, WR, WR, W/T, TE, K, DEF
1pt/10yds, 6pts/TD for both rushing and receiving, no ppr
running backs on my roster: Gore, J Lewis, C Brown, Norwood, Droughns
wide receivers on my roster: S Smith, C Johnson, Driver, Evans, Hackett, Muhammad, Stallworth

thoughts?

I'd probably do it. You could really use the added depth at RB and flex, and with CJ, Smith, and Driver you have 3 guys you can confidently start every week. Do you absolutely need to make this move now? I hate selling a guy like Evans so low. Barring a negative point performance next week, he literally can't do any worse. You're probably also buying high on Ahman at the moment

is it like a 7-8 man league ? Your wideouts are stacked, do it.

10 man, I went Gore, Ocho Cinco, S Smith, Driver, J Lewis, L Evans (had 2 5th round picks) We added the W/T slot this year and I thought it was crucial to get 3 WRs in the first 5 rounds.

I have the #1 waiver spot this week - did any performance from an undrafted/rarely-owned player in Week 2 warrant giving this up? Maybe the QB from Cleveland?

I think it's going to be pretty tough to decide week to week who will produce, so I doubt you'll get a good answer. Just dump which ever one you can get the most for imo

Are your other QBs named Chad Pennington and Steve McNair? If not, then no. Anderson doesn't get to play the Cincinatti D every week

Think I'm gonna try and grab LDT from his distraught owner this week. Also, the owner of MJD is thinking of dropping him. I just used waiver priority to pick up Brandon Jacobs, so no chance I can claim him, so possibly thinking of trying to wheel a Benson or Maroney package for him. I'd like to somehow get Smith or CJ, but I don't think he'll let either go, so maybe getting one of his QBs would help. Here are relevant rosters:

My team:
QB: Favre (dropped Glenn to match him up against NY), Leinart, Rivers
WR: Harrison, Javon Walker, Galloway, Santonio Holmes
RB: Parker, Maroney, Portis, Benson, Jacobs
TE: Gates
K: Gostowski
D: Pitt

Team 1
QB: Bulger, Romo
WR: Smith, Chad Johnson, Cotchery, Curry
RB: LJ, MJD, Lynch
TE: Crumpler, Watson
K: Wilkins
D: Chicago, Carolina

Team 2
QB: Brees, Cutler
WR: Boldin, Reggie Brown, Lee Evans, Berrian
RB: LDT, Peterson, Ronnie Brown
TE: Davis, Dallas Clark
K: Vinatieri
D: Denver, Seattle

It's an 8 team league and the LDT owner is 0-2, Team 1 is 2-0 on the strength of his WRs, and I am 0-2 due to facing Manning/Wayne week 1 and Palmer/Housh/JLew week 2

Is it worth swinging Benson for MJD? Any trade that benefits me where I get one of his WRs? I Portis+Walker for one of them good enough?

What should I offer for LT? I was thinking Parker + Maroney, but I don't know that it would get it done. Can I swing a big trade where I include Gates or Walker? I can probably trade him Holmes or someone straight up for Lee Evans, so I may also do that and then stock him onto the bench until his matchup nightmare is over
