[/ QUOTE ] the emails i posted are exactly copy/pasted from my personal email (i am a student at vt) we do not have security cameras and dorms are open to anyone from 8am-11pm (beyond these hours you need your pass/id) cnn says people were jumping 2 stories [/ QUOTE ] This makes me more accepting of my my school's new policy of 24 hour fire doors and only 1 entrance/exit per dorm.

i would save all of this "outrage" over the way the school handled everything until all of the information is out.
yeah they likely made a big mistake, but the full story is not out so i think the "OMG WTF WAS THE SCHOOL DOING VT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR DEATHS" is a bit ridiculous at this time. that may very well be the case of course, but it just seems to be jumping the gun without the full story out there yet.
