why would you even want to play anymore?

[/ QUOTE ]

For the same reason Tom Brady continued to play football after he won a Super Bowl, earned millions and nailed Tara Reid. People love to compete and test themselves.

[/ QUOTE ]

That's really a bad analogy.

[/ QUOTE ]

QFT; a horrible analogy; QFMFT!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

No it's not. It's apt.

APT!

Sorry...can't stop thinking about The Simpsons movie.

Aba is such a huge fish in these lives games (yeah I know he is up right now, but I will ignore that because he doesn't have as much live experience.) I think a more likely scenario is that he is up because the "pros" (and by pros I mean the guys I know are pros, the ones I see on TV who have played live more often, you are definitely a poker pro if you are on TV regularly like some of these guys) are letting him win. They want him to get up a bit and get confident because he is just some internet hotshot who has lucked into one of the winningest online players ever. They know that their experience with reading is so great he is a monstrous underdog against them. I would go as far as saying they know what he has as he is getting dealt the cards...that is how big of an advantage live experience is.

[/ QUOTE ]

this clearly wins, i almost thought he was serious too pretty classic

People dont seem to take into account that brian can't do his fake misclick when playing live. This move was responsible for a significant amount of his earnings online.

Chip Reese has remained a level headed gambler his entire life. He doesnt gamble for the sake of gambling only. He loves the challenge but will not take the short side of a bet just for the action alone. He may be hustled short term and lose but wont continue. He has been considered one of the all time winners. We dont know what his Bankroll is but it is likely substantial. He is extremely disciplined and doesnt do drugs or have other unhealthy habits.

[/ QUOTE ]

Wrong. He put a lot of money up his nose in the 80s.

Same goes for Baldwin. Remember the pool-match versus Archie Karas? Baldwin was all coked up.

But hey, early 80s was somewhat like a coke-era, really fashionable back then

Jourdain and I have obviously read the same Archie Karas article which has the story about him playing a coked-up Baldwin. The link is on 2+2 somewhere.

So he lost like $2 million in a $1k/2k game? Online this would be like losing a 100xBB max buy-in. That's not even counting the $400 ante.

[/ QUOTE ]
100*2k = $200,000
