I like Kalmar's move there and wish more people would do it. I called you, so turn over your cards. It's simple.

[/ QUOTE ]

It's also a dick move

[/ QUOTE ]

IMHO, not when you call villain's river bet.

[/ QUOTE ]

Jerry said "nice call" and pushed his cards in. This means Kalmar should get the pot regardless of what anybody has; he shouldn't have to show his hand either. People who say "nice call" or whatever without mucking and waiting to see the callers hand are dicks as well (bigger dicks IMO but w/e).

Slight sidetrack:

In 2005 I believe there were less than 6,000 players. All 9 players at the final table won at least $1 million. In 2007 there are over 6,000 and the million doesn't start until the top 5.

Is this correct, and if so, why?

Kravchenko plays really well the whole time. Just wait for a hand, push on Yang... profit. Like the anti-Watkinson.

I'll be the dick and get the information I paid for.

Edit to say -
Oh, I reread your post and agree with your latest point.

They flattened the payout. The players who barely cashed in 2007 got $20K.
