Radio is reporting tickets for all the games are sold out. Cheapest ticket on scalping/broker sites are expected to be $800.

This is really upsetting. Sell it at the box office and you get a much lower % of broker bought tickets and a much higher % of Rockies fans. Now many of us will have no chance to go.

I'll still be downtown for all the games, Sports Column probably.. if anyone wants to get a beer.

are all just above replacement level. neither of them are as good as, say, Jake Westbrook or Paul Byrd

Rockies should just start "Dragonslayer" in Game 1. If Beckett's back flares up and Fogg wins, this would totally demoralize Red Sox & totally rub fans' noses in sh*t...

There is no way you can make a judgement on Jimenez yet. He is completely unproven, but to say he isn't capable to perform at that level is asinine imo. I don't think its out of line to think this guy has ace potential, and he's pitched really well so far.

Cook has had great outings, but I agree he isn't an elite post season level. Fogg is definitely scary.

the trouble with those guys is that they all walk a lot of batters. that is death against a patient team like the Red Sox...you just can't walk almost 1 guy per inning and not give up a lot for runs.
