Inteesting that he pretty much uses 7.5BB in place of 10.

I think he missed the "do you see why?" in the QQ-folding example at the end

Anyone know what his party screenname is?

Isn't this type of question out of bounds?

I don't know what the rules are on this but if he has made it public I don't see why it would matter if its posted again. Obviously if he keeps it private I would expect anyone who does know it to keep it private though.

He actually has made a few posts on this site, mostly in MTT though I think.

I met him at foxwoods a couple weeks back when he was on the bubble. He seemed real nice, and is a solid freaking player. I like his website poker x factor also.

Bigballz says hes a fish, so I would stay clear of that article.

Hey I had no idea he was a big name and obviously his play hadn't impressed me from looking at my notes on him. He could be a great player for all I know, but before someone pointed out that he is a big name player I was always happy to have him in my SNGs. I guess he may just be screwing around now and just playing for fun. Doesn't matter to me, but you can look him up on sharkscope if you think I'm lying or being jealous.

At 9bbs it is a level where you can still get away with making a standard 3x blind raise. You are not forced to be pushing all-in with 9bbs. That is a higher level of flexibility to having 7bbs. It lets you do one more thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

anyone else find this odd? i would never even consider raising 3bbs with only a 9bb stack. is this something that is more effective at higher levels?

i guess the "10bb rule" is quite arbitrary but having 6bbs to navigate a flop with seems a bit cumbersome.
