3 seats? Somebody's gonna do something stupid in the next 50 hands, fold.

Oh yeah general rule: (whichever of M or Q means "rounds") is really important in sats. The equation is (your stack divided by M/Q) = S, the "stupidity quotient". If you can see somebody being a total moron within the amount of time you run out of chips, it's generally good to pass anything under an 80/20 edge.

I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] the stupidity quotient.

LoL, I'm sure I will and that I won't be playing any more of those satellites. I registered for it cause I was light on tables and I figured hey, WSOP satellites, sweet. Unfortunately there were almost 300 players and it paid 3 seats. Guess I should've done some math first .

I'd call if I had 70k and fold if I had 100k. I mean if he's playing that badly he's either going to suck out on the 70k stack eventually, or implode.

Just so I'm straight, is it general consensus that we're not calling an all-in, but we're auto-pushing against a raise that isn't too big to leave us even a hint of FE?

edit: reworded

Yeah, I've dropped like $700 on these and other prelim satellites. I'm starting to lean towards the buy-in direct option as well.

I plan on paying at least $20K to play in the ME this year. And then returning to find out I have been fired from my job.

haha. For me, it made things easier to just decide to end my job in June as opposed to trying to ask for a two week vacation later.

You still going to the Borgata next weekend?

Got a room for the wonderfully expensive price of like $225 per night (and this is their "tournament" rate apparently). I'll be down Saturday afternoon until Sunday afternoon.

See you in the tournaments? I plan on playing the $200 satellite to the 1K and whatever other one they have at 7PM on Saturday night.

yeah there's no way I'm calling that. I'm not sure I'd even call if he flipped AQ, but that's probably stretching it.
