I think you see pair+nut flush draw a significant percentage of the time....if he's got a pair+nutflush draw you have him dominated and his pair draws are quite likely completely dead, eliminating up to 5 or 6 of his outs. I call this, but expect variance.

Yeah, I called here. I thought at first it was b/c I was on tilt, but I am not sure if I am completely focused, if I could make this laydown. I was right though that villain had AxQd. The damn turn was the 2 of diamonds, and I found myself cursing more to myself.

On an unrelated side note, I did get much of it back from last night when I sat at a table with a guy who had $570 when I sat down, and 13 hands later, he was busto. Has anyone ever seen someone lose 6 buy-ins that fast? I know I haven't.

Thats the thing that sucks about SA/WB, you have to be ahead alot more times than you are behind, and here i'm not sure your ahead even half the time.

Good call. All you can do is get it in with the best of it. After that, it's up to the pokergods

this is tough, b/c he could be doing this w/ pair + flush draw, set, or flush. Two pair is unlikely (A6, or K6? no way). No way he does this w/ just a lone pair. Like other people have said, we're either WB/SA. I have to dump it.

yeah. the guy had like $700 at the table, super calling station/bluffing maniac with a vpip of 90something. he lost it all in like..45 minutes (just as fast as he built it up). btw, I call the flop, just depends how much you can handle variance.
