They're showing poker at 9 a.m? DOn't they know poker players love their sleep? I would be suprised if this show is renewed, since it absolutly will not get any ratings at 9 a.m

On the side, Sheik slow-rolls Hansen like the total punk that we know he is.

If Sklansky were wrong and there were in fact a God, He would have swooped down and replaced Gus' kicker with another ten ex post facto for the reverse-slowroll of the century.

aside from that scene with sheiky the show was somewhat boring

I agree. Maybe my memory is faulty, but it seemed they concentrated more on the feature match last year. We got some great extended heads-up play. Now they show one hand here, go to another hand over there, then come back to the feature table. With the field cut in half, and the broadcast time doubling, hopefully they will give us a lot more hands per match.

His obnoxious tendencies are not an act either...he's been pretty much that type of guy every time I've been around him. It's not a 'for the camera' thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

It takes some incredible poker skills to flop trips on a no-brainer hand, and then hit quads. He was just pointing out the genius of his play to the less sophisticated players.

He is the only person I have ever seen lose a battle of wits to Mike Matusow.

For those who missed it, on the High Stakes show, he was talking about the interaction between him and Todd Brunson. He said that he and Todd just go after each other on "principality".

On the side, Sheik slow-rolls Hansen like the total punk that we know he is. But - and I don't know which season this was - did anyone see Negreanu slow-roll Williams with his aces when it was heads-up on the WPT? Negreanu doesn't seem like the type who would do that.

[/ QUOTE ]

I remember that hand, but IIRC, DN had limped the hand trying to trap, only to see a really scary board of coordinated low cards. He wasn't slow-rolling, he really thought he might be beat. Williams, seeing the aces, said something like 'Wow, that was pretty risky, Daniel.'

I said this in the other thread but it was not a slowroll. I was there and they ask you not to show your hands untill you are told and if u listen as soon as the guy says lets see them Shawn slams his cards down.

What about Negreanu's read on Evelyn holding a pair of 4's with the diamonds?
