I disagree about this being a true sucker punch.

1.) The lady who got hit was obviously trying to start [censored] with the other lady's kid/grandkid. Not like it came out of no where.

2.) There was obviously time to retaliate. While the big hitter was leaving, it wasn't like she was running away.

3.) As absurd as it may sound, its at one time it seemed more acceptable for the single punch/slap to be an acceptable response to having your honor insulted.
