[ QUOTE ] If I had the choice to call/fold/disconnect, I'd call. Having spent quite some time in this game, I'm curious who this was. [/ QUOTE ] So far it's just this one time, which is why I'm not outing him. But I probably lose a few hundred dollars a month to "one time" disconnects. And it's always when they are in a tough spot, never on easy calls or folds. [/ QUOTE ] I will just add in that I before have had situations where my internet has gone out when I have a tough decision, even though I clearly know what I want to do. And frankly, this isn't even a tough decision. This is a 100% call. |

Re: Hand against a very well known 2+2er
I say innocent.
A "well known 2+2er" is going to be playing multiple tables, and I doubt that they are going to go throught the hassle of disconnecting, missing EV on multiple tables, reconnecting, all just because of one marginal decision in a decent pot. Unless he knows you and wanted to piss you off |

Re: Hand against a very well known 2+2er
Yeah, if this "well known 2+2er" is a good player, and I'm sure he is, then this is a super-easy call (or else why is he calling the turn raise only to fold a crub river?). I'm inclined to believe he actually disconnected.

Re: Hand against a very well known 2+2er
3-betting the turn and disconnecting to a cap seems like the best play.

Re: Hand against a very well known 2+2er
I never understood the disconnect at limit, neither do most accusors.
I once called two bb's cold during a game on the turn, then discconected on the river when it would have been an easy call (my draw) got there, and this dude went ballistic. |

[/ QUOTE ] why do people keep saying this as if it matters??? yes it's an easy call but there's no way he's good >50% of the time, which means it's EV+ to disconnect. that said it's pretty unlikely considering he's probably multitabling and it isn't that much money he's saving. |

Re: Hand against a very well known 2+2er
you have to actually disconnect. you can't time out. if he didn't disconnect at his other tables it's because party [censored] sucks and he got randomly disconnected at one of his tables. that happens to me all the time
