Default Re: On the bubble with jet lag and jacks

[ QUOTE ]
So I just got back from a two week vacation and was playing a $30 MTT on party yesterday when I came across this hand on the bubble, 60 left 50 get paid
...
I was more worried about the cold caller having a hand but saw he and the original raiser both had decent stacks and I was ready to start drinking and catch up on Lost and the Sopranos so I just shoved. Bad?

[/ QUOTE ]

I dont know if it is bad or not but here are my thoughts:

Aggressive Bubble play is something I like to initiate. I am very nevous of an UTG raise, followed by UTG+1 call on the bubble, I dont know if I lay down JJ but I definately consider it. However, this could be one of my flaws, I am regurlarly ITM and working on getting deeper.

In general, I think I probably do fold in this situation with your stack size. I think your stack is big enough to rob and steal enough to make the money. And I think villians hand ranges to raise and call in that EP have to be pretty good. Unless UTG+1 is pretty loose, I think at best you have a small edge.

But I have done the same thing before, and it seems usually the EP caller has KK. Good situation to discuss tho, thanks for posting it.
