Re: Anyone ever smoke after being awake for an extended period of time?
Stayed up for about 70 hours to study one time. After my exam, I had a half-pint of beer and felt it. Then smoked part of three joints. I honestly could not focus on one spot for any period of time.

Re: Anyone ever smoke after being awake for an extended period of time
No experience doing this with weed. But I frequently smoke cigarettes after being awake for an extended period, if I have to be awake for a few more hours. It helps.

Re: Anyone ever smoke after being awake for an extended period of time?
Have you ever stayed up after taking a sleeping pill, lets say Ambien? This is the same sort of feeling I experience when smoking after being up for a long time. Its kind of trippy and you feel completely zoned out.

I know exactly what you're talking about. Staying awake for a long time will do it... psychedelics will do it... it tends to hurt a lot more if you aren't prepared though.
Things get crazy. You experience a weird side of your brain you probably didn't even know you had. Hard to describe it, really. |

Re: Anyone ever smoke after being awake for an extended period of time
Almost forgot I posted this. Yeah, for the people that just get high and tired, I'm talking sleep deprivation, here. I guess everybody's different, but after 40 hours of being awake, I'm noticibly stupider.
Anyway, I probably won't be doing that again. Alot of weird sensations. Every time I closed my mouth and my teeth touched it was like a gong going off in my head. I also remember trying to type the title for this post and I think it seriously took 20 minutes. For a little while, I felt like I knew what it was like to be an insane person. I went to sleep and had dreams about worms. I slept for 14 hours. I've never been more burned out. All in all I give it a 5/10. Uncomfortable for the most part, and I felt so out of it that it wasn't much fun, but maybe worth it for the experience. |

Man if you're already tired weed is better than any valium! I can't believe you were even able to post that! Unless of course your weed sucks, which it probably does.

I'm debating doing this right now. But perhaps I should wait for a moment when I won't be so tempted to nod off. |
