[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] What if it goes bet, raise, reraise, reraise all in...action to you, three behind still to act with one player already all in, having three players show considerable strength before he acted? Also assume all stacks are equal in size, 200bb. If you don't fold kings here you are a moron. [/ QUOTE ] Ha, folding there would be an act of a coward. [/ QUOTE ] Are you going to elaborate at all? I'm not going to argue with myself here folks.... [/ QUOTE ] You need to consider your opponent's range of hands. Villian will not have AA 100% of the time. 1. Against {AA}, you are a 4:1 dog. 2. Against {KK+}, you are a 3:1 dog. 3. Against {AA,AKs}, you are a 2.3:1 dog. 4. Against {KK+,AKs}, you are a 2:1 dog. 5. Against {QQ+}, you are even money. 6. Against a wider range, you are a favourite. Assuming full 100BB stacks, the first set of raises may be enough for you to call against range 3 and wider. You should always call against range 5 and wider. To assume that villian always having AA is not player dependent will get you in trouble. |

[ QUOTE ] 300BB stacks UTG raises to 6BB you reraise to 20BB UTG pushes im calling KK to everyone but a rock [/ QUOTE ] [/ QUOTE ] What limits do you play? In the full games I play, people don't just dummy push for 200 bb with worse than KK very often. Certain people do - I'll call those people. I've folded Kings 9 or 10 times now and I was only wrong once. That time it was KK vs. QQ and I folded the other KK. QQ won anyway Twice the guy didn't show - the rest I got shown AA or it was an overall situation where one of the 2 players had AA. -James |

What limits do you play? [/ QUOTE ] Mostly a 1/2NL home game. A majority of the players I play against would hold a range of {QQ+} or wider here, so I call against a majority of players, making this my default play. If this is your first hand at a B&M 1/2NL table, what do you do? Does it change at different stakes? |

post some hand histories, show me you are making money by calling obscene pushes with KK.
i used to follow the never fold KK advice, but then i learned through experience unless the guy is a maniac, no one is reraising >100BB out of nowhere with less than AA. and if they are, you will catch them in a future hand. |

WSOP Main-event: Blinds $50/$100 I have $18k UTG has $12k I get KK in MP UTG seems relatively tight and straight-foreward/honest UTG bets 300 I raise to 1000 UTG re-raises to 5000 I decide to push. He calls. His AA holds up. |

Are you really calling out James?
James doesn't need to post hand histories. If he asserts a fact such as this one, 99.9% of the half-way decent players on this forum will believe him. |
