Mel Kiper is also really retarded.

I don't think anyone will disagree with this statement.

4 round projections are really retarded. Mel Kiper is also really retarded.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'd like to see some historical results on how many of these projected picks end up being correct. I would guess he gets less than 10 out of 30 in the 1st round, and less than 5 in subsequent rounds...making these pretty dumb indeed.

On Mike and Mike he said that he thought there was a good possibility that the Jets might trade up for Leinart.

[/ QUOTE ]

This rumor has been floating for months and has spread like wildfire after the Jets acquired a 2nd first round pick for Abraham.

I personally can't see them trading up though with the amount of holes this team has. The Jets already essentially spent a draft pick on a QB (6th round to Washington for Ramsey). In order to move up to #2 to get Leinhart they would have to give up #4, #29 and possibly more. Spending 4 draft picks in one draft on one position is usually not smart. The Herm-way Jets would have done this. But I like to think the Tangini Jets won't.

They won't take OLB B. Carpenter from OSU, but I think they should. He's the best cover OLB in the first two rounds, and can get after it.

[/ QUOTE ]

I would love it if we got Carpenter but I agree that we won't - it makes too much sense. Combined with the fact that Accorsi loves guys from tha U, I could definitely see us getting Jennings.

Why not?

Is Ngata a bad fit in Baltimore?

Runyon and Tra Thomas aren't getting any younger. Although Philly could probably use a WR.

Wow - there is a ton of value in those projected early 2nd round picks (approx. 36-45)

Do the Giants really take a CB at #25 when they probably should draft a LB?

Do the Jets pass up on Mangold? I doubt it.

[/ QUOTE ]\

I doubt the Jets pass on Mangold. (He's white!)

I also don't see Carpenter falling as far as he does, or most of the other [censored] happening. Kiper is an idiot.
