I'm really not trying to rag on this thread (I just want to discuss how this forum's going to develope.) but what's the point here? Right now this thread is just "You do it? I did it." "Yep." "Me too." Maybe a little bragging about times? Blech.
I was hoping for Soduku strategy. I can do Medium or even Hard ones, but I understand that there are all sorts of fancy tricks that are required for doing Evils (and are helpful when doing easier ones). I've seen discussions of "up-2-chains" and "over-under-4-chains" or whatever (stuff I don't understand [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]), and expected this thread to discuss strategy and technique. With everybody starting with the same puzzle, I thought there'd be questions like "I'm <here>. What do I do next?" Ya know, like in the +EV forums on this site. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I wouldn't read those poker forums if every thread was "I won $2k at poker." I want to know how they won at poker. -Sam edit: Just saw this thread.

If you have questions about the SOD, post it here. If you want to see how much of a badass you are and compare your times to others, post it here. Other than that, it's just a place to post a puzzle every day. Take it for what you feel it's worth [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Sam: I posted in the sudoku strategy thread. Check it out. I can go into more advanced methods too, if what I described was too elementary.

Nurikabe is fun...
I was at 27 mins when I had to stop to get my laundry =(. I used to be so much better at Evil Sudokus, I swear.
