100NL 6m AA against what looks like 2 pair
Villain as new to me. The flop bet size was a mistake-- I thought the pot was $6 and this was a 2/3 bet. More commentary at the end.
Poker Stars No Limit Holdem Ring game Blinds: $0.50/$1 6 players Converter Stack sizes: UTG: $52.25 UTG+1: $86 CO: $59.90 Button: $244.15 Hero: $113.70 BB: $36 Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4 folds, Hero raises to $3.5, BB calls. Turn: K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($15, 2 players) Hero bets $10, BB raises all-in $29. Hero ??? I figured him for K7, maybe K6. Against those hands, I need just over 4:1 to call, and I'm getting just under 3:1. I figured the chance he has AK or maybe even KQ and thinks I'm full of it might make up for it. I figured sets were more likely to let me put the rest of the money in on my own, but now that I'm away from the table I think that's some flawed logic. |
