Flop: (7.40 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, MP bets [/ QUOTE ] I've never played limits above 2/4, but the half the villans im familiar with bet here 100% of the time. you are getting 2.8:1 (assuming he bets every street) on the whole calldown, and given that there are two As on the board, I dont think that you are doing worse then that compared to his range. So id call down, maybe bet/fold river or something. On the river 7.7 to 1 is definitelly enough to call. -kai |

I'm going to assume what the OP did is put villain on JJ-KK and maybe AQ-AK, so he figured when the J hit he lost. Of course, the problem is the 3-bettors range is going to have a lot more pairs than that. I suppose I can see that maybe you don't expect smaller pairs than JJ to bet the river when the J hits, but really that's silly.

I guess you figured that's the worst possible river card.
I dunno, I've seen much more retarded folds in MUSH lately that didn't take nearly the same abuse from the gallery because of who posted the hand... but no way I'm folding that in a 5handed game without a read. |

If you call the turn, you must call the river
I cap preflop against an agressive player as played I checkraise the flop & Decide what to do based on reads/player if played back at. As played TOO PASSIVE |

Cap preflop and lead the flop, the dynamic of the hand changes after that.
