My neighbors are noisy and so often times I sleep with earplugs in my ears. This allows me to hear my heartbeat while laying there, and I don't really like it.

Happens to me a lot. Actually I've been very conscious of anything going on physically for about 6 months, not sure if I'm developing an anxiety disorder or what.

But yeah, it's especially hard when trying to sleep. I think a little chest tightness is a heart attack, then my left arm feels numb and my mind swims with the possibility that I'm dying.

lol. My left arm and leg fall asleep far more often than my right limbs, and a year ago i went in to my Doc. and told him I thought i was having a minor stroke. He sent me off to a neurologist and they said I had a pinched nerve.

That may be your deal.

I can feel my heart beating a lot of times at night.

But I attribute this to my three packs a day habit.

13 bucks a day on cigarettes. yeah, it's really sick.

My god, how do you even have enough time for that?

5 mins a smoke X 60 smokes a day = 300 min or 5 hours of the day spent smoking? WTF?

Not to mention the ~5k spent a year on smokes

I call shenanagins.

I wish it wasn't true, mother [censored].

Why is it so hard to believe that I smoke three packs a day?

And it's more like 2 minutes a cigarette. I take 4-5 puffs a minute and I never smoke the whole stick. I smoke all day long, probably taking a cigarette break every half an hour or so, and in that time I'll have about 5 cigs

And I wake up at least two or three times every night and I crave them, so I reach for the nightstand and light up a few while watching Bloomberg

I worked at a gas station for 2 years, there was a guy who came in every 2 days and bought a carton of reds. One day we got to talking and he told me that he smokes 5 packs a day.

So... I believe you, and yes you should stop.
