There's already 900 in the pot and the only hand you hate to see here is AA/KK. I'd be willing to see AK/AQ here with this stack. Push.

There are 2 problems. One is the early position limpers. Someone could be trapping. The other is this is the 2nd hour of the 5 rebuy. The play is maniacal. You just don't have that much FE.

I agree with this except ... your stack is just so small and you are only going to get so many opportunities with stacks this deep (meaning that people are going to look you up, just because they can), so push and double up when 77 EP limper calls.

You are arguing with the author of the infamous red zone post on this. I am not sure pushing is cEV+. I am not lookin gto gamble. I would limp behind or fold. The play is real loose at this stage of the 5 rebuy, If you get a big hand, you are likely to get paid off. You should also have better opportunities to make plays short stacked. I would rahter stay alive and wait for someone to make a mistake.

I really like limping behind here and think it is by far the best play. You have position in a family pot with a strong hand.

I note everyone that I play with who I've seen limp a strong hand or limp/call a push with a weak hand. If I don't see one of those notes here, I push. I think a lot of my equity in a tournament comes from raising or pushing over limpers.

push here simply at the chance of the squeeze play(see HOH2).

Ok, so the replies are basically split between push and limp (maybe a few more "limp" replies than pushes). So, in the actual hand, I limped. Here's the hand up until my next action. What's my play here?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (9 handed) converter

SB (t12450)
BB (t11799)
UTG (t11000)
UTG+1 (t21617)
MP1 (t16276)
MP2 (t8505)
MP3 (t8770)
CO (t16150)
Hero (t2315)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls t200, UTG+1 calls t200, 3 folds, CO calls t200, Hero calls t200, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: (t1300) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (6 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, UTG+1 bets t1400, CO folds, Hero ???

for the first question: if you haven't been pushing away on previous hands, push this preflop

Very easy push on the flop. This is one reason I said limp. You make TPGK about 28% of the time and you will hit some draws and have opportunities to steal the pot in position.

Pushing preflop would be a good play at some tables, like live, higher buyin, or later in the tournament. In the 2nd hour of the 5r, a preflop push is going to get called, maybe more than one caller. You want FE pushing with KQ, because if you are called you will probably be behind a pp or ace if you are not dominated by someone trapping.
