White men can't jump?

I´m 6'4, white, and have never come close to being able to dunk despite playing ridiculous amounts in high school. Absolutely no vertical at all.

Really. Those dunks were more about body control and being technically hard than having "mad hops"

Black people jump higher. Asian people do math problems faster.

I'm black, for what it's worth, but I hear from tons of people, both black and white, about how white guys can't dunk. I think they're talking about non-tall white guys, like 6'1" and under, because anyone who is 6'5"+ has a much easier time dunking. But why does this myth exist? I have seen a couple of my white friends who are 5'10ish dunk in person, but then everyone points to someone like Nate Robinson of the Knicks who has a sick vertical and they say that white people don't have verticals like that. I disagree.

i think it is because white guys can't jump. seriosuly. i am white and i cannot jump, but i have HUGE calves. in high school i was on the corss country team, and the best football player (who was black - started as a freshman at University of Illinois when they were #5) used to laugh and say "Man Bic (that was my nickname to him), you got some big old calves, but how come you can't jump? You gonna go run across some fields today? HaHa, I'm just playin' with you, Bic. I know you run good, but the rest of you all a bunch of busters (he says while pointing to the rest of the cross country team.) He could dunk. We used to play craps in the back of Christian Relations class, but i digress.
