his play is strange. on the flop it seems to be a flush draw, maybe an ace with good kicker or both.

but the turn card didn't do anything for these hands.
I'd say he's overaggressive and put you on a weaker ace/ flush draw here.

you can't fold here.

I'm not content with my analysis. He's play seems really weird to me, but considering the limit, this should be standard.

Looks like a queen to me- or maybe a flush draw. AQ is possible, but you cant play thinking there are monsters under your bed. Push it 100% of the time.

I agree that I shouldve raised more on the flop (was busy on other tables at the time and didnt use an appropriate raise amount.. normally I'd make it around $8 here).
I guess my issue is with pushing the turn. Since everyone here says to push with it, apparently I messed up. I went into the tank to almost timing out and mucked the hand. At the time I just couldnt see him taking this line with anything but a hand that beat mine.

I would never fold here - but I can understand OP's thinking.

Villian has raised UTG - meaning we have to put him on a hand: AA, AK, AQ, KK, QQ, KQ, JJ. I think we can easily right off a few of these given the action. So it is one of those WA/WB situations.

Also, at this level that little re-raise tells us a lot. He wants callers - he thinks he has a great hand so I am putting him on AA or AQ, possibly even QQ.

Again, I would lose money all day on this, but I don't think that folding is that bad.

everybody misjudges thier implied odds. calling a single unknown raiser doesnt garantee you a stack if you hit. i'd prefer to come in if somebody else has called or more important get some reads

Whay are you playing for set value HU? You're in position. It's 6-handed. A pair has some showdown value.
