Bob,

I agree with you about some of his strategies, but it's basically not a strategy book. It's a poker psychology book. I think the majority of the book's emphasis on patience etc, is extremely valuable however, especially for people who play tournaments or have any tendency to tilt. As has been noted before, I think we agree that his second book, Tao of Poker, was mostly a re-hash and not worth the price of admission.

As usual, you have to read carefully to sort the good stuff from the chaff.
