How many people here, esp. multitablers, post blinds playing 6-max? Why? This is a waste of money. You don't have to wait that long to get dealt a hand if you have 3-4 tables open.

I can understand posting in the CO if you're just playing one table, but still. I waited for the big blind when I used to 8 table FR.

Is it really +EV to always post in the CO and auto-raise any two in the long run? Party 6-max must be a rock garden!

I agree that it is a mistake in 6-max, but at full table, posting in the CO = -1 BB for 7 hands = -0.143 BB/hand as compared to posting in the BB = -1.5 BB for 10 hands = -0.15 BB and that doesn't include your positional advantage posting in the CO.

I thought that the +EV move in this situation is to raise any two. Maybe that only applies to full ring, will have to check out Ciaffone's Middle Limit Holdem because there is a section devoted to this play.

I believe one of the big considerations to rasing any two was the times that you picked up the blinds uncontested. SH is a differant animal. The blinds are expecting a raise from a CO or Button position and will not fold often enough to make the play profitable in the long run.

Wow, I never really thought about it mathematically. So, this is basically a leak of mine in a FR game. I just assumed it was -EV.

I'm usually fiddling w/ PT/GT+/etc. and moving lobbies to a different monitor, etc., so I'm not idoly waiting to get dealt a hand.

Thanks.
