This is SpaceX's maiden launch. It's called the Falcon. It will be the world's first privately developed liquid-fueled rocket to reach orbit and the first all-new orbital rocket in over a decade.

Also, one cool thing (for me, at least) - I didn't work on this rocket, but I did spend some time working with Lockheed last spring on the Falcon II small launch vehicle.
