this is somewhat of a guess but i think you're actually running pretty hot right now based on your pair + two pair performance

[/ QUOTE ]

Two pair does look very high, but isn't pair suppossed to be around 45%?

yeah around 44-45% but i think he's winning more than the normal amount when he shows it down.

miles,

I dont think his style of play is condusive to getting to more sds, for what that's worth. In order for him to get to more sds, he's got to crank down is aggression numbers some.

I have yet to weigh the merits of a higher af versus a lower one.

well they basically happen simultaneously.

i like to think of it as trying to get to showdown more often than trying to lower the ratio of (bet% + raise%) / call%. in trying to get to showdown more, the aggression factor should naturally decrease.

By cranking more, that means calling more. Focus on calling more and peeling the flop.

Also Leader mentioned check raising. Used that to your benefit against LAGS who will bet when checked to them. Check raise both turn and river if you have too, that will set them straight.

Your Went to SD at 30% is pretty low, and may be linked to some of the previous advice given regarding folding (and your own thoughts on folding too much).

You're obviously folding a lot of winners and it looks like you may be running bad on top of it. It looks like you need to value bet the river a lot more, too. Your W$SD% for the river is a staggering 80 when it ought to be low 70s if you're extracting the maximum with your value bets.

Just keep playing, you'll be crushing 5/10 soon enough. Don't try anything too fancy, show down lighter especially when HU, and find more spots to extract an extra bet on the river. You have nothing to worry about.

My stats are way "better" than yours. Yet I'm on a 60k breakeven stretch. Yay poker!
