No doubt, I would want to bust Hellmuth with my Kings cracking his Aces. Two reasons.

1)My chipstack would be greater than it would have been had I folded the Kings to his Aces.

2)I would get the most of my TV time.

Yeah, making Mike Madisow(sp?) CRY on tv again would be pretty sweet too.

If I ever sat at a table with him, I’d want that footage on my ipod or phone so I could play it for him when he started busting my balls.

There would be nothing more splendid than having Phil Hulmuth call me a donkey.

Obviously choice 1 to choice 2 due to the money involved, but I would feel better about my play with choice 2.

This is a psychology question, not a “make you rich or not” question.

I don't understand why people keep bringing in chips stacks into this. He specifically intended that not to be part of the question.

As it stands, folding Kings seems to be the clear answer to me. I would feel awesome if I were to fold KK preflop and have my opponent show me AA. This far outweighs the advantage of being able to say to your friends, "I busted XXXX," especially when you do it in such a trivial way.

Change the question to busting the opponent by making a great read, and it might be a different story.

Hey Alex, did you go to CR South? If not, ignore this entirely.

I chose the *bust* option simply because the circumstances in which I'd ever fold KK preflop are so rare that I'd be afraid I would be more likely look like a weak-tight idiot when the segment aired.

It doesn't matter who I busted, I'll take the chips, thanks.

There is a reason why people are bringing chip stacks into this and it's because it's the only thing that actually matters. I'm not an ego player, so I'm quite content putting all my chips in the middle with AA. I don't even care if I bust the pro.

I think the idea was to have chips be irrelevant...think of it like this:

Either you have t30000 and get all your money in with AA vs the pro's KK, or you have t~55000 and lay down your KK.
