I hate the flop 3-bet. The turn/river bets look fine. [/ QUOTE ] Why do you like the river bet? Do you really think the king on the river is gonna make him fold if the ace didnt? |

Maybe? His wtsd is pretty low..I think he'll say the hell with it with an 8 or 9 or PP often enough.

Something to remember about these loose guys is they aren't thinking about odds the way we do. He might be 100% convinced that he's behind on the turn but still call hoping to suckout regardless of odds. He's now looking at it like a draw and there's a decent chance he'll fold on the river with some weak pairs even after calling the turn. The K should reinforce this possibility.

the only better hand he folds on the river is qj.

I'm pretty sure that's not true. We obviously never see what people fold so I can't prove it, but I don't think it's that uncommon to see some types of bad players fold pairs here.

[ QUOTE ] I hate the flop 3-bet. [/ QUOTE ] Why? If you call the flop I think you have to fold the turn unimproved. Krishan [/ QUOTE ] I don't think pricing yourself in for draws on later streets is a reason to raise. Quite the opposite actually... |

I would think a 31 wtsd type would find a fold with a hand like 87 fairly often enough.
