Surely there is value in betting the river. He has JT, T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] or something silly that he'll pay you off.

2/3 of those hands just rivered us and are CRing

Eeek! That's what I get for speed reading! JT, or Ax [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]s, will still pay often enough to bet the river.

I felt the best about this hand of the 3 as well so I'm glad to see it looks ok. I really don't like a river bet against this guy especially with my image after playing the first two hands posted and some others. I don't see how he pays me off with a worse hand and to me it seems like he just got there on the river or he was on a draw of which there were plenty on the flop. I also wasn't really considering anything else on the flop but I made sure to think it out just the same.

He showed 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] after I checked behind and briefly complained about missing a big draw (which he did indeed) and I don't think he was so steamed as to pay me off with it but I didn't ask so maybe I missed a bet after all.

It was fine. If he CRed the turn he wins the pot but he can't know that.
