Fertility clinics routinely throw approximately 1000 blastula a day in the trash. The only people who care about blastula are George Bush and far right conservatives. Oh yes, and people who can use them for life saving stem cell research.

In general, avoiding answering questions by making (in general, very irrelevant) analogies or asking counter questions is not a good way to argue. Even if you're right (which, in general, people who employ this argumentative style are not) your credibility basically disappears right there and no one will take you seriously when you're not discussing rationally.
