if you call the flop he will put you on exactly the hand you have. Think "implied odds" I would only call the flop against someone who would absolutely not reraise me or fold in this situation.

to this part of your post i disagree. if we call we are being layed 3.5 to 1 in position so we dont need any implied odds for a call to be +EV. Therefore i still think a call on the flop with these odds is superior

as to your other point i think i agree. the turn is a way better spot to get frisky with a draw. our fold equity is usually higher and getting aggro with draws on the turn usually equates to higher implied odds than if we took action on the flop...
