I bet small on the flop to induce a re-steal/bluff with a hand like 10's or Jacks since he seemed semi-competent. I figured he would fold any pair with a shove so thats what I did.

I discounted 22 as that seems unlikely as well as AA or KK with just calling the initial bet and my raise. I pushed and he had 22 anyways.
