It's better to be almost always 70/30 ahead or flipping, than being maybe 80/20 ahead, maybe 80/20 behind, or often flipping when you're covered. AK is almost never dominated because it reduces AA and KK combos from 12 to 6. TT has to worry about 48 combos of JJ, QQ, KK, and AA.
I should have added the condition that the preflop shover is unknown, also. You'll have a lot better idea of where you stand with AKo, and the strength of AK in tournaments comes from being able to see 5 cards to make 1 pair (quoted from Sklansky's Tournament Poker for Advanced Players). |

Sooted I shove for sure. Versus CO he may be raising more liberally. If unknown villain was doing this from EP then maybe fold but if sooted defo all in.
