[censored] it, time to go out with gusto:

Subject: Admit it...

Body:

you're totally scared of getting owned at Scrabble. I'm also an excellent drunk Monopoly player.

Seriously, though, if you're interested in grabbing a drink and chatting sometime, there's an awesome little pub in Berkeley called the Albatross that has lots of board games, it's cooler than it sounds. I'll buy the first round, and we'll play Balderdash for the second round.

-Dan

P.S. I have no goddamn idea what Balderdash even is. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Man I'm [censored], lol.

Dan

just out of curiousity.. what the hell were you thinking when you challenged her to scrabble?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, umm... meh... I figured it hit upon something she genuinely likes,

[/ QUOTE ]

So she plays scrabble? I'm lost...

I guess if she's like a scrabble player or something then you didn't [censored] up too bad. I probably would have left the scrabble out and just asked her if she wanted to go out drinking.

isn't that second message a little premature? did u send it? seems kinda desperate when u send it so early/close to the previous message... also the desperation comes through when u offer like 192837498327 different things to do, offer one thing and stick with it, act like it's the best thing in the world and she'll be missing out if she doesn't join...

meh, what do i know, i yell at girls who grab my ass... man was that a donk move...

yeah dude if you sent that you screwed any chance you had of getting in touch with her. the sad thing is you already know that. seriously, just take a step back and relax. if you put too much pressure on yourself you'll never get with anyone.

Her profile said she likes board games. I thought being challenged to drunk scrabble would be more interesting than just 'hey, let's grab a drink.' I'm convinced that if you're not in the top or bottom 15% of looks (I'm neither), girls are all about personality, charm, and wit. I just wanted to come up with something that was vaguely unique.

Dan,

Why would you send another message to a chick who ignored your first one?

Is that a pic of her? She's not even close to an 8. Her face is busted...no more than a 6.
