they don't look like poop on and ipod or itouch... (i convert them using the highest audio and video setting also, so you might be converting them on a low resolution setting, i made that mistake the first few times until i figured out how to change it).

thanks man but yeah, anyone who wanted to know this could simply google 'saving youtube vids' or 'converting youtube vids', there are tons of programs (and even some neat webpages) out there that do this.
