You're right. I didn't pay enough attention. I guess we can discount sets somewhat.
On the other hand wouldn't an aggressive player bet the flop with top pair,middle pair,flush draw or straight draw?

I bet he'd check the flop with A-10 though.

yea he bets the flopped flush draw with position, A10 is the only hand i'm worried about, i'm def willing to get it in here

i think he'd bet the flop with a set for protection

pretty much sums it up IMO, he could be turning a weak made hand into a bluff or semi-bluffing the ah.
