well....i couldnt put him on a 10, so if he had a flush he wins for taking his free card and not betting into my weak turn check...he played this so bizarre...couldnt put him on a hand so i timed down and called... I'm not really sure why you're going for pot control, considering you're:
a) giving the villian a chance for a freebie to beat or chop with you on a hand he probably wasn't that interested in. b) if he bets the turn, the pot control theory is out on the river, and you'll have to fold to a psb. I don't think it sucks to get raised on the turn as much as you say it is.

so basically u r saying bet the turn, cause pot control is out the window anyhow...and if he's got it chalk it up to bad luck... as played got myself in an awful pickle and made a crying call and gave a free card....... good stuff

Its different when you're deep, or if you know the villian does gay 1/3 pot bets. I'd still bet though, cause people are easy to valuetown when I have a set.
