Re: not looking at cashier.. possible
looking at the cashier results in a not so pleasurable result. I look at the end of a session only!

Re: not looking at cashier.. possible
I need to look about every 1/2 hour. I don't think I've ever gone longer than that.

Re: not looking at cashier.. possible
I look every 10 minutes. Doesn't tilt me if I see I'm down. Poker isn't your game if looking at your balance messes with your head.

Re: not looking at cashier.. possible
Ive done it for an extended period of time. It really is kinda of freeing. Once you go past a couple days you stop thinking about it. Really makes it a lot easier to play, you are more focused on just making good decisions, and you dont get affected as much by the swings cuz you arent aware of how big in either direction they really are.

Re: not looking at cashier.. possible
Last time I looked it said I had $4,674, which was good news for me seeing as I know I only had $46.74. I didn't bother trying to cash it out though as it looked so good on the screen. I'm up to $60 something now, so maybe when I look again tonight it will say $6,000.

Re: not looking at cashier.. possible
I've done it for about 2 weeks, but it depends on the site; at Party I think the balance is so prominent that it's hard to avoid it. Also, this means you cannot analyze sessions in PT that well.
Basically I can do it while running good, but not while running bad. It's still better than clicking "refresh" every time I'm not in a hand (so like every 30 seconds) that I used to do. |
