WTF preflop is such an easy call.

It's really not that hard to play when you flop 1-pair. Just check and see what happens. If there is a bet/raise or bet/call, just fold. If there is only one bet, generally call flop, and fold to turn double barrell because people don't bluff multi-way pots very often.

KQs can flop a lot of playable draws. I'd never fold it here.

SD fan, I'm a bit unclear on the bet/3bet statement. Can you explain please? I understand the pushing part

[/ QUOTE ]

You want to bet this into the pre flop raiser hoping that he will raise your bet and then you can 3- bet push over his raise.

Your draw is so strong you want all your chips in the middle on the flop in this hand, plus you might have some fold equity by pushing

Play here seems fine. Other posters are probably exaggerating the negative aspects of entering the pot pre. As far as the flop, bet/3b seems better, but as played getting it in is fine/necessary.

My thought process in not bet/3betting was that the pf raiser was directly to my left and I figured he was going to be betting the flop. I thought that if I bet and he raised, the 2 cold callers would insta-fold. If I let the pf raiser bet his $3 or whatever, one of them might call (or raise, which probably makes the hand easier to play). If one or both of them call, I can get more money in the pot before i c/r. I don't really see why a bet/3bet approach is superior to this. Please explain.

Please explain.

[/ QUOTE ]I did. You want to put in the last bet, not call a push. You don't get fold equity this way. I don't think your thought process is bad if you have top two or a set.

I am surprised people advocate folding this PF
Heads up I fold for sure
Multiway I'm in
Nobody is trying to win a big pot with 1 pair anyways

And as played yea I like bet-3bet push
