it's a 3 bet pot. this is the easiest shove IMO to make. There's so much equity in this that it is correct for you to shove and correct for him to call with TT-QQ. Even if villain has no fold equity this is still a profitable shove.

Thanks for the feedback.
My thought process here really revolved around range also, and I figured him for pocket pairs, of which 99 and 44 were possible, but doubtful as he would probably have called that street and moved in on the turn when I was more pot committed. I also figured air was in range here if he put me on something other than AA or KK based on my preflop action. As a result, I didn't like the call either, I shoved, villain then turned over 89os, and won when no spades hit the board. Last question then is, with a 27/22 preflop villain, is 89os normally a part of that range? I play 21/12 and I can't see that preflop call at all. Is this normal range for a villain with those stats? |

if you use a program called Realtime HUD it tells you how often he folds to a 3bet. If that percentage is 0% then yes. But a shove is still good here even with that info as villain will show up with worse a lot.
