Beat: Best Buy's website says that none of the 5 closest stores to me have Heroes in stock. Will they give me a coupon to pick it up later for free or something since it's part of the deal?

I went to Best Buy after work intending to just accept the two $35 movies and a rain check on Heroes, which many people in that thread have said Best Buy has done for them when they're out of stock on it. The guy helping me says they can't do a rain check, I'm like wtf, he says let me get my manager and then the manager tells me he'll go look it up and comes back and says they can't do a rain check on it.

And the nearest Best Buy with Heroes in stock is like 40 miles from here. [censored] that.

pretty sure today is the last day, and bestbuy has fixed the boxset glitch, but you still get 2dvds for free as long as they are 34.99 or less

I did this at my local Best Buy and Heroes was out-of-stock. In order to get around the raincheck issue, the guy put a note on the raincheck that I would get the box set for free, not $99 like the raincheck said. He had a manager put his signature on the raincheck too, so I'm good.

I didn't get a whole box set for free however. They just did up to $34.99 off two HD-DVD's. I grabbed Transformers (($29.99) and the Mission Impossible boxset ($79.99 or something), which I will probably sell. I think I'll sell all the DVD's. Do Netflix or BB Online rent HD-DVD's currently? I'm thinking about starting up with one soon.
