Why is a push PF so bad? With all this dead money in the pot and no one showing any strength, how can it be "horrible?"

Shove flop...too much equity to give up and fold equity from here on out is gone if you let it go. I'm not completely convinced shoving preflop is that bad. It's not far from neutral EV and OP is getting desperate stack-wise.

My brother told me about some book that says any time you are in a blind with 7-10 times the big blind and no one has raised, you should shove. It seems like a pretty good general rule. This does not fall under that category, but it is close. Shove pre-flop doesn't seem so bad. As played, shove the flop.
