I can't really put him on a hand here but the fact that the FD and A came in make it somewhat liekly you ahve a hand you can call with, so he won't be bluffing that often. Also his line makes no sense so he won't be bluffing. maybe A7.

Actually he is right, villain could definitely have a medium pair turned into a bluff, and if we called and won that's what I expect him to have. I would still fold, though.

well that would make sense given his check calls, but do you not think a river lead with a medium pair here would be so utterly stupid that it makes the hand extremely unlikely?
