No need to raise to 90c there. I'd be happier with 40-55c.
The big PF raise inflated the pot on the flop, so your CBet had to be so much larger, I imagine that's why you're pissed off with this hand. I think a bet of around 2/3rd pot as a CB is good. 50% pot bets are no good, assuming you bet the same if you hit or miss. Fold flop to the C/R, nothing else you can do there. BTW you sound so defeatist in you post. Cheer up! |

I'd raise this to .60 preflop and cbet 2/3 of the pot on the flop. Folding to the flop raise is good. Having your 9BB raise called is something to keep in mind here and you may be able to get away with this on your high pairs.

Make a note that villain limps in EP then is willing to call 9xBB raise preflop. Besides the sizing of preflop its standard.

Folding overcards to a c/r is fine.
Occasionally, just check behind on a flop like this to take a free card, especially if you know a player will c/r light on a low flop. |
